Blessings In a Backpack , , ,
provides elementary schoolchildren who are on the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program with a backpack of food to take home for 38 weekends during the school year. Backpack food includes easy-to-prepare, ready-to-eat foods, like granola bars, juice boxes, mac & cheese. 100% of your donation goes to feed the children. Wesley UMC has designated our weekly Christian Education offering for this project.
Wesley’s Table Food Pantry , , ,
is a Food Pantry located in our building. Currently we are able to provide bakery items, produce & meat recovered from Kroger, Jewel, and Meijer. With assistance from KCCSI, we are also 
currently ordering monthly from Northern Illinois Food Bank which helps provide additional non-perishable foods. There is no application or other requirement to receive assistance; however we do target the communities of Bradley and Bourbonnais. We are also collecting donations of any non-perishable food items and paper products.
